Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you? Before leaving it was quite difficult to get to know the study system and the Learning Agreement. However, on arrival we had a meeting where we were advised on what to write down exactly to our liking and I submitted Changes of LA.
In addition to the traditional lectures and language courses that are taught classically throughout the semester, the university has block classes that run every day for 1-2 weeks. It is a combination of lectures, seminars, and practical work. It is very intensive but very rewarding and the practical part is directly linked to the ongoing research of the research group.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? The university organises many events that can be a great opportunity for integration, but most of them tend to be in German. At the same time, the university also has a society that caters for Erasmus and other international students. This society made me feel included and that I knew who to turn to for help almost immediately after arriving.
