Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, orientation week, presentations of clubs, events of clubs - every week there was at least one event of a club, ESN also did a lot of events, mostly parties, but also other events like trips, laser game etc.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Via the SJ app, trains out of town, earlier trains are cheaper and students get a last minute discount too.
SL - for getting around Stockholm, a 3-month public transport card paid off for me. You can search and buy a ticket, SL is linked to google maps.
The discount is only available to students studying in Sweden - you need to be enrolled in at least about 20ECTS and be a member of a student union
