Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, all sorts of things. At the beginning and end of the semester there was an event almost every day.

Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Bus

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing?In Belgium, dormitories are often without equipment - i.e. take linen, cup, cutlery, ...
Plus there is no dm drugstore (=no brands we are used to), so buying drugstore is very much trial and error if you are allergic for example.
Also, it's actually always raining there, so less shorts and more raincoats:))
