What specific responsibilities and tasks did you do during your internship?I did research, wrote reports and reports on current topics, followed events in the world and in Korea, participated in various conferences and public diplomacy events, helped organize visits and events, made presentations, translated texts, helped manage social networks and assisted colleagues.

Do you have tips on how to make a great impression on the institution?Interest in Korea, if you speak Korean, it's a big advantage (I don't :D).

How competitive was the selection process? Did you have to go through an application procedure?I don't know, I sent the necessary documents and after some time they contacted me saying they would be happy to accept me for the internship.

Why would you recommend students do an internship?Experience in the field, potential use of acquired knowledge, EXPERIENCE, discovery, exploration, uncomfortable situations, experiences.

What were your average monthly expenses during the internship?25000 CZK/month

If not, how did you find it?For shorter periods of time you can use airbnb etc., I used Goshipages, where you can get mini apartments for a reasonable price.

Did you have any unexpected expenses during the internship?no

Do you have any tips on how to save money during the internship?Ideally shop in larger stores and go to stores like G24, 7eleven etc. for crap, it is also quite worthwhile to eat out, as cooking is often similarly expensive as food from a "restaurant".

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Everything on the internet, bus times etc. I searched in Google maps or Naver maps (Google maps in Korea are not fully functional).

What is a must-see in the city?In Seoul, it's 100% N Seoul Tower and the local markets and souks that are in many places.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Seoraksan National Park, DMZ, Jeju, Seoul.

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?If you are flying to Korea for more than 90 days, a visa is required, under 90 days is not.

What not to forget when packing?Some Czech/Slovak... little thing to remember, I also like to print out photos I like and stick them in my room.
