Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you? That exams were mostly in forms of projects,. Besides that, I was rather surprised that the teaching methods were similar to the ones in Czechia.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? We had a little since there is no ESN and the person who was in charge did not do much with us. But maybe it was also due to the low number of Erasmus students.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?I was ready for the high prices. Most of my grant went on accommodation. Maybe the biggest surprise was that the transportation was really expensive, that's why I decided to stay in Kongsberg most of the time.

What is a must-see in the city?Skicentre, nature around behind the dorms. (It is a small city, not many interesting things right within) But the things around are absolutely worth it.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?North of Norway (Trømso, Bødo...), we also did a cabin trip to the central Norway and had a ride on horses and that was lovely. And Bergen as well.

Share your best experience:Difficult to say one. I was in love with the lakes and nature around Kongsberg, going there every day. And night skiing after school. And of course, the horses were the highlight as well.
