Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Writing essays in computer science, we don't do that here at all, and they're quite keen on it. And also the quality of English of teachers.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Orientation week, a student association for Erasmus students and a buddy program, which then organize their own events.

Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:17000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?It's tricky, I found it on Uniplaces, but I've had good luck with nice people. So after knowing the best, I have friends there now, feel free to recommend they will be happy.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Probably nothing. The metro card only works on Android, iPhone people have to have a physical one.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Buy a student TMB for the metro and you can ride it everywhere for a reasonable price.

How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?It takes an afternoon to get a metro card, it takes an afternoon to verify your passport. Have your passport with you for identification is sometimes needed rather than ID, in various services when you don't have a NIE.

Can you pay by card?everywhere

What not to forget when packing?Umbrella and spring weather stuff was even 10°C at Easter, it rained more than I expected.
