🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?no

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?It is similar to MUNI, lectures and seminar groups. Lectures were 50% online. On some subjects there is a final project instead of final exam.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? There is orientation week and there was one more event for exchange students during the trimester.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:21000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I had several websites but I already deleted the bookmarks, if someone needs them just text me and I will try to find them:)

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Accommodations are expensive, count with that.

Do you have any tips on how to save money? The food can be quite cheap, especially in hawker centers ( look it up, one of the "must-do" things in SG ), so you don't need to cook often and you will also have the local experience. For transport, I used shared bikes a lot ( HelloRide ), the monthly subscription was around 12 €.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?perfectly

How does public transport work in the city?runs like clockwork

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Google maps, tickets are always purchased at the entrance to the metro or right in the bus.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?yes

How do you rate the availability of healthcare?mostly fine

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Gardens by the bay (during light show), walking under Marina Bay Sands and watching the lightshow, Lau Pa Sat, Sky Garden at CapitaSprings (free , need to reserve beforehand), walk by singapore river, East Coast Park (nice park, grilling spots for rental), Changi airport.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Ohh there are countless... But based on what I visited this is the order : Bali - Phuket ( and PhiPhi Islands ) - Hoi An - Siem Reap - Bangkok - Shenzhen & HongKong - Kuala Lumpur - Kutching.
tip : Kuala Lumpur and other Malasyan cities ( Malacca, George Town ) are accesible by bus for few € and without any planning in advance, so there are perfect for a longer weekend.

Share your best experience:It's really hard to decide because every destination was so unique, but if I have to choose one it would probably be the trip to Bali - the nightlife on Bali, the nature on Nusa Penida and the mix on Gilli Islands ( I really recommend to visit also these islands and not to stay only in Bali).

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?I recomennd to split your flights into more and visit some destination in between, since it's usually cheaper and you can visit another city;) For example Abu Dhabi was a very good hub between central EU and Singapore when I was booking, and it was perfect to stay there for 2 days or more.

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing? You don't need any warm clothes, it's hot and humid all the time. You don't need much at all, in worst case everything can be bought there.
