🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?no

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?The courses are the same as at MU, they have lectures and seminars. But sometimes classes are arranged separately.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?I'm sure there will be something like that with the euniversity just not actively trying to involve us in it. In fact, I don't know of anyone who's a member of a society. But we had the opportunity to go ice skating, for example, which was organized by the university.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories
I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:12000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I stayed in S hotel, it's almost in the centre but the kitchen is extra and it's quite expensive. We also had to deal with an extremely dirty kitchen. But the man at the front desk is very nice. The university has a cool website where you can find where to look for private accommodation.

Do you have any tips on how to save money? They have a Lidl there, it always saves the day.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?almost without problems

How does public transport work in the city?neutral

And what about transport outside the city?neutral

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket? In their special app (I think Marprom shop) and you can buy tickets there. It's a bit tricky to find your way around. You can also search for buses on google maps, but you have to check the app and the paper timetable at the bus stop to see if the bus is actually running.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Probably the overall center. Then the mountains, the pyramid, the stairs are fine and generally any hill around. Also going to the museum in their castle was cool but it wasn't like wow.

What are the must-visit trip destinations? To Graz (1hour away), to Ljubljana, other Slovenian cities are fine but they are tiny. Castle in Celje. You can take a fairly good Flixbus to Zagreb and Budapest.

Share your best experience:Probably anything you do with friends, I took my closest ones to Prague.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Car

Can you pay by card?everywhere
