🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Does the university offer enough courses in English?they have tons

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?As both Maltese and English are spoken in Malta, all courses at the university are taught in English. Pharmaceutical Science, which is similar to our Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Technology, which is more focused on industry and drug manufacturing. My teaching in Pharmaceutical Technology was only in the form of lectures. The schedule was fixed and one lesson lasted one to three hours. The teachers were friendly and the teaching was more personal as there were only 6 of us studying this semester.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? Before the start of the semester, the university organized an orientation day.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:20000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I recommend looking for posts on fb groups. But be careful as there are quite a few scams everywhere. I recommend getting photos of the accommodation from the owner of the apartment and also video calling the owner and asking for a video tour.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city
How well did you manage to communicate in English?perfectly

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket? For students, the Talinja card is available in Malta and allows unlimited free travel throughout the country. It costs €20.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Manoel island, Gozo, Blue lagoon, Marsaskala, Valetta, Three cities, Mdina

Share your best experience:The whole Erasmus was a great experience for me. I stepped out of my comfort zone and met a lot of new people and explored all corners of Malta and Gozo. I'm not able to pick the best of all the experiences, but if I had to single something out, it would be swimming in the sea every day and hanging out on the beach with my friends.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing?Definitely swimwear and sunscreen!
