Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I was surprised how much they pride themselves on teaching sports and their hourly allotment. I have to say I really enjoyed dancing 3 times a week and I thought it was great that there was plenty of time for everything and we got a lot done in a semester.
The schedule wasn't exactly steady and regular, the sports (practical classes - Dance, Swimming, Volleyball and Handball) were regularly taught several times a week on the same day and time (usually 2-3 times) and the theoretical subjects were taught more in blocks and rather randomly. We also had the theory subjects often shuffled through the teachers' duties, but they were always replaced with another suitable term.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, the sports faculty quite often held some events for students such as picnics, parties, etc. These events were organised by the students and were for the whole faculty.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories
Crisis intervention

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I asked students who I knew had done Erasmus there in previous years and were satisfied with their accommodation. I took their contacts and contacted them well in advance.

Do you have any tips on how to save money? The food in Lidl and Hofer is in the same price range and many things may be cheaper - I recommend shopping in these chains.
I recommend not to be lazy and to get a Pregrana (boni), thanks to it you can eat really well at very good prices.
