Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?What surprised me most was the different form/energy of the local classes. The subjects are very discussion based, the lecturers appeal to teamwork, creativity, ideas and student opinions.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, for the first 2 weeks of the semester we attended an orientation program where we learned about many beneficial clubs, places. Staff and volunteers helped us fill out all the necessary paperwork and gave us a tour of the campus.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Expensive public transport tickets, the best option is to buy a DeutschlandTicket, which is a bit expensive.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Very good prices and a selection of refreshments in the University mensa.
