🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Much more than at MU, teaching was focused on classroom discussions. A lot of emphasis was placed on students being active in class, but the teachers always managed to create a comfortable atmosphere where students were not afraid of saying something wrong.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, all of the above. I attended orientation week, which helped me with registration and course selection, and I've been to about 2 or 3 events organized by ISN during the semester :)

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Other

Special needs - Other:It is possible that unoverzita offers other support, I just don't know about it.

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:20000 CZK/month

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I got my accommodation through pepehousing. It was more expensive, but the owner was amazing, so I didn't regret it.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Probably not, it's similar to the Czech Republic.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Excellent canteen with student discounts right next to the university :) and of course as students make sure to take advantage of the half price public transport discount.

🗺 Learn the ropes in a new city

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

And what about transport outside the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket? You can search for a connection and buy a ticket via the jakdojade app, but if you use public transport regularly, the local semester "shalinkart" is worth it.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences? For me, as a person suffering from anxiety, the decision to go to Erasmus was a challenge. But now I would do it again :)
