Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?The deadlines weren't as strict as at MU and the teachers were more understanding. Also the workload was much smaller for the amount of credits than FI.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, there's orientation week and a ton of ESN and university events for the exchange students.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Not really, I stayed on budget. I even had some money for a few trips.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Start cooking if you don't already, because eating out is expensive. There is a canteen at the university, but it's not the cheapest. Also you can get free transport in Tallinn if you register. You can also save by finding sales on the Tarbi Targalt app and find cheaper food on the ResQ Club app.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?You can find connections and buy tickets on the Pilet.ee app. Specifically for finding connections you can use https://transport.tallinn.ee/#plan//en. Google maps also work, but the buses are often late and/or never come.

What is a must-see in the city?The city center, the sea, Linnahall from inside, Telliskivi, Balti Jaama Turg (especially the top floor with all the vintage stuff).

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Tartu, Viru Raba, the islands

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?There are no direct flights from Czech republic during certain months, but you can either fly to Riga and take a bus or to Helsinki and take a ferry.

What not to forget when packing?Umbrella, waterproof jacket and shoes.
