Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?The school offers a ride from the airport, so definitely take advantage of it. Vaccinations, not compulsory, but better to have them.

Can you pay by card?sometimes

What not to forget when packing?Mosquito spray and umbrella/raincoat. I wouldn't over pack, really just go light. It's hot there so you don't need as much clothing and you can buy everything cheaply.
