🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?yes

Can you give an example?Credits are converted here depending on the number of hours, 13 credits at NTU were converted to 25 credits here.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?As everywhere in Asia, compulsory attendance is part of the final grade for a given course. Students also do not receive interim test scores unless they specifically request them, and thus do not know where they stand in terms of their final grade.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Barrier-free access to classrooms and dormitories
Support for LGBTQ+ students (e.g., safe spaces, counseling services)

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:11000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?I had to buy several SIM cards, as there is no longer a student visa for the whole six months, and a prepaid SIM card can only be bought for a certain period of time, which cannot exceed the validity of the visa, and the visa can only be extended 14 days before the visa expires.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Night markets, coupons, shopping at wholesalers.

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Cultural parks (my favourite is Songshan) , the National Museum, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, small independent bookstores and antique shops (Fembooks, Bookman, and Yabook Antiques have a good selection of books in foreign languages).

What not to forget when packing? There are no mattresses, blankets or pillows in the dorms, everything can be bought locally, but packing your own is also an option, especially if you have sleeping problems.

🥳Summary
Whew, what a ride! 😮‍💨 Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey and for sharing your unique experience. Just one last thing. 🙏 How would you summarize your trip in one or two sentences?Lots of red tape, but it's worth it.
