Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes. Fadderuka is an orientation week worth attending. Lots of socializing and exploring activities.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Food in normal stores is extremely expensive.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Buy fruit and vegetables in "import" shops, you save money and there is more choice. One such shop is on Storgata Street.

What is a must-see in the city?Deichman Bjørvika Library - the best place to learn, but also to chill.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Bergen, Trolltunga - it's a classic... but the little DNT huts all over Norway are a true Norwegian experience. Just become a member of DNT and you can go on day trips or multi-day trips all over Norway.

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?From the airport, don't take the Flytoget trains, but use the suburban trains, which are almost half the price.
