How competitive was the selection process? Did you have to go through an application procedure?I had to apply, the institution selected according to answers and field of study.

Why would you recommend students do an internship?It's a great experience and an opportunity to make a change, to experience new things, to meet new people. To explore a foreign country in a different way than from a holiday, to experience a different culture and to learn new things. An internship is an opportunity to take care of yourself in a foreign country and gain valuable hands-on experience.

If yes, what were they?Public transport for the first month. Last month with change of accommodation.

Do you have any tips on how to save money during the internship?Arrange your public transport card in advance. Arrange discount cards for shops, for 3 months it is useful.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?I searched for the connections before Google maps, you can see everything there, including the location of the stop. We had a monthly card, but you can get a free card up to the age of 24. However, they will only issue this after an appointment at the office, you have to deal with the ordering from home.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Algarve, Porto, Palace de Pena, Cabo da Roca

Share your best experience:I had some great experiences, I really enjoyed the Lisbon zoo where they have a dolphin show twice a day. A very beautiful place is Cape Cabo da Roca, it is the westernmost point of Portugal. However, Lisbon's rains and weather changes are also an interesting experience.
