🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?it's alright

Are your credits converted?yes

Can you give an example? For example, Spanish at the school in question was worth 10 credits, but at MU it was worth 3.

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Their teaching is conceived differently than we are used to in the Czech Republic (Europe). Most of the time you only enroll in about 6 courses, but they can be 2-4 times a week. There are also no standard exams like at MU, but the teachers evaluate you throughout the year, three times in total, the third grade being the final grade for the whole semester. They are mainly concerned with projects, essays or tests.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, the university is very well prepared for international students. They have a group of students, the "Global crew", who organize events for international students, be it events on campus or trips to Mexico.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?Psychological counseling
Crisis intervention

Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:13600 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?yes

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you? There is no good public transport accessibility, buses do run but there is no fixed timetable, so if you need to get somewhere on time you have to use Uber.

Do you have any tips on how to save money? The food here is relatively cheap, especially street food such as tacos. Chedraui supermarket is definitely cheaper than Walmart and you can find everything you need. You can also buy food from locals at the market.

And what about transport outside the city?runs like clockwork

How do you rate the availability of healthcare?mostly fine

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?Downtown! Lots of souvenirs, beautiful streets. Then Cholula, it's the most lively, especially bars, clubs, restaurants and a beautiful view of the pyramid. They have a lot of museums and galleries available. Atlixco is a town a bit further away but well worth a visit. If you want to experience a bit of nature Parque Ecologíco is a great place.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Atlixco, Valkirico (Italian village), Cholula or the hike to Malinche.

Share your best experience:Día de muertos!! It is definitely worth going to Atlixco, or watching the parade right in the centre of Puebla.

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Plane
Bus

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip? You'll probably fly into Mexico City and then have to take a bus to Puebla. The airport can be chaotic and hours of people offering to "help" you. It's always best to speak only to the official staff at the airport.
