What specific responsibilities and tasks did you do during your internship?I was making plaster molds of Nazari traditional decorations that were common in Andalusia during the Muslim rule. I learned how to do the whole process from scratch.

Why would you recommend students do an internship?I think it's a great opportunity to gain experience in a field that you might think you want to work in and see how it actually is working in the real setting.

Did you have any unexpected expenses during the internship?no

Do you have any tips on how to save money during the internship?You can save money by living a bit away from the city center. Also this didn't work for me cause I am older but if you are under 26 and have Erasmus or youth card you can get discounts for many museums and also transportation. Alsa, which is the only bus company working here has this frequent travel pass for 3 trips that is much cheaper than the one way ticket so you can use that when traveling if you know you will repeat the trip.

What is a must-see in the city?Alhambra of coarse is the most important but I also love the neighborhood of Albaicin which is the historical Morish part of the city.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?All the important cities that once were the capital of the Moors are within reach and definitely worth a day visit or over night visit. Destinations like Seville and Cordoba.

Share your best experience:Granada is full of life and festivity! Specially during Spring there are so many traditional festivals when you can really experience the Andalucian lifestyle. Semana Santa in April is truly a unique experience.

What not to forget when packing?Lots of sunscreen! It's also not that easy to find books in other languages and even English. There are only a limited best sellers that you can find in some stores so make sure to bring enough reading materials with you!
