Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I found the teaching less practical than here.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly?Yes, there is an ESN branch that regularly organises events for students. We were also assigned a tutor who guided us through our studies.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Not really.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Definitely the lunches in the canteen - one meal every day for 2,35€, I survived the whole semester that way.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?The ticket is included in the semester fee, it's a Deutschlandticket, so it can be used on all regional trains throughout Germany in addition to public transport. Public transport connections can be found on Google maps or the DVB app. For trains, it's DB.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

What is a must-see in the city?For me, sitting by the Elbe, flunkyball in Alaunpark, bike rides, pubs in Neustadt, it's a lot.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Saxon Switzerland, Rügen.
