🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city?As a very outdoorsy person, I was most impressed by the Marjan Forest Park with its beautiful nature and sports and relaxation activities (bike paths, workout grounds, rock climbing and, of course, beaches). Right in the city, I liked the streets of Diocletian's Palace (UNESCO) and the dominant tower Zvonik svetog Duje.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Around Split there are plenty of possibilities for trips - the town of Omis, the mountains lining the Adriatic coast and I definitely recommend the adjacent islands.

Share your best experience:It's hard to choose just one, but it will probably be the thru-hike of the island of Vis. We spent one morning at the famous Stiniva beach, where I climbed on rocks right above the water and then jumped from cliffs into the water. The experience was enhanced by the fact that there were a lot of jellyfish swimming in the sea and I got my first ever sting. :D

💅A nugget of wisdom to make the life easier
Did you need to handle a visa?no

How did you get to the place?Bus

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?If you are travelling alone, make sure you are able to carry all your luggage.

Can you pay by card?in most places

What not to forget when packing?I took my snorkeling gear with me and I definitely didn't regret it. I also recommend some basic kitchen equipment, but it depends on where you are staying.
