🎓Hit the books! How do you rate the university experience?
Can you enroll in a course where you can learn the local language?yes

Does the university offer enough courses in English?they have tons

Are your credits converted?no

Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?Compared to MUNI, the level is a bit lower, from my home faculty I was used to the fact that in the compulsory courses for 5 credits, in addition to the exam, a presentation or an essay or both is included, while at the foreign university the end was one presentation in a group or solo. At first glance it was a very practical concept of teaching and I was excited, but later I realized the significantly low standards, as when some classmates' projects did not meet the assignment but passed anyway, or when the course consisted only of student presentations and we unfortunately had no lectures.

Does the university offer international students' programs and activities outside of lectures and seminars to help them integrate more quickly? It offers an orientation week.

In which areas does the university offer support for students with special needs and strive to be inclusive?I haven’t noticed

💸Did you have to rob the bank?
Try to take a guess at what your monthly expenditures were:15000 CZK/month

Did you stay in dorms?no

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation? My boyfriend and I found accommodation through a Facebook group directly for Erasmus students. At first I was worried if there would be a lot of scams, but I think we got lucky. Dorm accommodation in Poland can be a problem for couples, our university didn't allow us to live together, which is why we decided to live privately.

How well did you manage to communicate in English?almost without problems

How does public transport work in the city?mostly fine

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?I recommend the Jakdojade app, where you can conveniently buy even a four-month ticket, and it works in several major Polish cities or on PKP trains.

Did you deal with any health issues during your stay?no

🤠Help create the perfect bucket list
What is a must-see in the city? The city centre, the river and definitely the dwarfs!
