Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?I found the teaching more active but at the same time less demanding than at MUNI.

This university offered various excursions or cultural lectures outside the classroom. Then there was orientation week and a graduation party.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?I don't use mobile data in the Czech Republic, here it was more or less a necessary expense.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?Shopping in supermarkets versus "konbini" and not always relying on ready meals. For using public transport I recommend to definitely get an IC card, but if you know in advance that you will travel a lot on a certain day you better buy a day ticket (there are usually discounts for museums etc.). Then withdraw from the ATM a larger amount than needed because of the fees.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Via Google maps, but if we really want to save money and don't mind 4+ transfers then Yahoo!Maps. Tickets are easy to buy at each station (cash only), and otherwise on the bus you pay directly with the driver.

What is a must-see in the city?Definitely Osu, the whole stay will be short to explore the whole business district. For nightlife definitely the Sakae area and for culture the Noh Theatre or Nagoya Castle

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Enoshima :)
