Was there anything in the teaching methods that surprised you?All the courses were incredibly interactive and practical, focusing much more on applying skills in real situations and looking at case studies rather than learning pure theory.

Do you have any tips on how to find private accommodation?I think applying for Concordia housing would be a good idea. I had a lot of trouble with the company Colocatere and LivinFrance who I booked my accommodation through so I would not recommend them.

What about unexpected expenses? Did anything surprise you?Nothing out of the ordinary.

Do you have any tips on how to save money?There are student charities which can provide you with free groceries each week. You simply have to register and pick them up.

Where to find connections? How to buy a ticket?Using Apple Maps to find connections works great. Metro tickets are sold at every metro entrance and you can buy a transport card right in the central station main office.

What is a must-see in the city?The old city is a classic as well as La Citadelle Park.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Lille is very close to Belgium, Paris and the Netherlands so travelling there with the bus is very affordable and quick.
