What is a must-see in the city?Downtown and James Bay, Fisherman's Wharf, Mount Tolmie, Mount Douglas.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?It's definitely worth a trip to the western part of Vancouver Island, to the town of Tofino, where the nature is beautiful - as it is everywhere on Vancouver Island and in Canada in general. Moreover, there are good conditions for surfing (yes, you can surf in Canada too!).

From Victoria, it's not far to other parts of Canada or the USA by North American standards. Various students have often travelled to Vancouver, Banff National Park, Toronto and Niagara Falls, Seattle, California, Las Vegas or even Hawaii. You can't do it all, but there are definitely a lot of places to choose from.

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?If one flies to Vancouver, one needs to have a trip to Victoria planned. The most common and cheapest option is a combination of ferry and bus.
