What specific responsibilities and tasks did you do during your internship?I helped the teacher during Czech lessons, I prepared teaching materials (for classes and online on the university's platform), I had individual lessons with students where they could practice their Czech.

What is a must-see in the city?The most famous is Clifton Suspension Bridge, then Bristol Cathedral, Brandon Hill, Wills Memorial Building, Ashton Court Estate. There are also many parks in Bristol: Troopers Hill Park, Eastville Park, Snuff Mills and Clifton Down.

What are the must-visit trip destinations?Bath is only 10 minutes by train, and it's not far to the seaside either (a popular UK destination is Weston-super-Mare).

Share your best experience:The traineeship took place during COVID, so the teaching was not completely under standard conditions. But thanks to this I had the opportunity to have more individual online lessons with students. At the end of the traineeship, I was most pleased when, after the conditions were relaxed, the students met me in person and said that my extra lessons had helped them in their studies.

Is there anything to watch out for before the trip?I don't think so. Some flights go directly to Bristol airport, which is just outside the city. Alternatively, you can fly to London and then take the train to Bristol (it takes about 3 hours).
