Where can information be found about courses taught at the foreign school?:
Zoznam predmetov, ktoré boli určené pre zahraničných študentov, som dostala až po príchode na univerzitu. Mohla som však chodiť na akýkoľvek iný kurz pre japonských študentov, pokiaľ s tým súhlasil ich vyučujúci. Po prihlásení na stránku školy som sa síce dostala k zoznamu všetkých predmetov, ale keďže sa tam bolo dosť ťažké orientovať, tak mi so všetkým pomáhala tútorka a vyučujúci, ktorý ma mal na starosť.

Kurzy sa registrujú počas prvých dvoch týždňov, pri čom si ich potom nemôžete zmeniť. Predmety si môžete len zrusiť a to v priebehu prvého mesiaca školy.

Did you take any examinations at the foreign school?:
Na začiatku semestra sme písali test, podľa ktorého nás potom rozdelilii do jazykových skupín ale inak nie.

Predmety som si buď nechala uznať ako ekvivalenty konkrétneho premetu na MUNI alebo som si to zapísala ako D predmet (predmet, ktorý sa nevyučuje na MUNI) a dostala som za neho 3 kredity.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Závisí od predmetu. Niektoré predmety boli založené len na prednáškach, iné zas na práci na hodinách, úlohách či prezentáciách od študentov. Hodnotenie študenta spočívalo v práci na hodine a v zložení skúšky na konci semestra.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Nízka. Hlavne čo sa týka jazykových predmetov pre zahraničných študentov.

How did you receive study materials?:
Musela som si kúpiť učebnice s ktorými sme na hodinách pracovali.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Pokiaľ sa zaujímate o spev tak určite Higashi Yashiki.

How well is the school library equipped?:
Obstojná ale závisí to od toho, čo potrebujete.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Počítače sú v knižnici ale ja som používala vlastný. Na hodine ich však nebudete potrebovať.

V priebehu semestra sa organizujú rôzne výlety za účelom socializácie a spoznávania Šizuoky.

V izbe je všetko potrebné (posteľ, stôl, stolička, svetlo, skriňa atď.) Pokiaľ by ste však niečo potrebovali (kuchynský spotrebič, tanier..), tak si to dokážete kúpiť v daiso či second-hand obchodoch za nízku cenu.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Je to súčasť vybavovania celého pobytu.

What are the catering options?:
Môžete si variť alebo chodiť na obedy do jedálne.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Najdrahšie je ovocie, syry, zelenina. Všetko ostatné je porovnateľné s cenami u nás.

Z letiska šinkansenom

Rough prices for transportation:
okolo 6000 yenov

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Pokiaľ cestujete po Japonsku, tak určite chodťe radšej autobusom než šinkansenom, keďže autobus je o polovicu lacnejší.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
Môžete si kúpiť alebo požičať bicykel. Taktiež môžete chodiť autobusom od 190 yenov vyššie.

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Je ich veľmi veľa a zaberie Vám to určtite prvé dva týždňe. So všetkým Vám však pomôže tútorka a ľudia na univerzite.

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
V Japonsku som si musela vybaviť japonské zdravotné poistenie.

Myslím si, že úroveň japončiny je v tomto ohľade dosť dôležitá.

Prístup vyučujúcich a zamestnancov školy. Kedykoľvek som niečo potrebovala tak mi pomohli.
